Senior Underwriter, Private/Not-For-Profit Financial Lines (Underwriting)

• Underwriting new and renewal business within the Long Island branch
• Soliciting and analyzing risks within Private/Not-For-Profit Financial Lines’ guidelines
• Developing and negotiating price, coverage, and terms and conditions for new business and renewals
• Conducting sales presentations and providing product education to brokers and agents
• Maintaining and developing relationships with brokers, agents, and clients

• Minimum of 3-5 Years Underwriting Experience
• Knowledge of Private/NFP products, underwriting, and marketing
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Oral and written communication skills
• Negotiation & marketing skills
